There are so many things I can say about this. Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter and Hogwarts. At least in Percy Jackson people know the stakes and consequences of betraying or abandoning a friend.ģ. Almost everyone in the school abandons him in anger, jealousy, or spite. In the Goblet of Fire Harry’s name is selected for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. In Harry Potter many look at him as The Boy Who Lived. In every book Percy has relied on somebody and whenever somebody trusts him to do something he gets it done.
He even trusted a mortal who he did not know (Rachel Dare) with his quests. In the book series, Percy knows he can rely on his fellow campers. There are better and more reliable friends in Percy Jackson. It just happens to be that there are more battles for Percy.Ģ. Though neither look for the trouble in particular, it always finds them. He is either hunting them for a quest or being hunted by them (which sucks). Percy Jackson is constantly fighting monsters since the age of twelve. Sure Harry fights something in every book and movie, but it’s brief and not as much action.
There are a lot more battles in Percy Jackson then there are in Harry Potter. Putting these two against each other is like a fight to the death for some people. These two fandoms are big in our generation and are both high up in fantasy. Today I will be listing reasons why Percy Jackson is better than Harry Potter.
